The cleaning process:
After initial assessment of the areas to be cleaned, a quote and set price will be provided, with no obligation and no hidden extras.
We leave it up to the customer to move any large items of furniture (beds, wardrobes, units, sofas etc) prior to cleaning. It is sometimes better to leave large items in place as we can work around them. Smaller items can be moved within reason.
Dry soil extraction:
The first stage is to extensively vacuum the carpet, to ensure all loose material is removed from the carpet.
Pre-spray:
The entire carpet is then sprayed with an eco friendly micro-splitter. This is a solution based solely on food grade ingredients. It is a detergent free solution which leaves behind no residue and gives consistent results. It is non hazardous, safe for children and pets, contains no bleaches, enzymes, surfactants or solvents and is odour free.
Agitation:
The pre-spray solution is then agitated using a CRB machine to ensure all remaining dirt in the carpet fibres are loosened prior to extraction.
Extraction:
The solution and dirt are removed using a hot water extraction machine. An organic rinse solution is injected under pressure into the carpet while a high power vacuum simultaneously removes it, along with the dirt. This neutralises the carpet, rinsing away any residue, leaving the fibres naturally soft and healthy. A deodorant solution is used to leave behind a cotton fresh fragrance.
Detailing:
Once the entire carpet has been cleaned a smaller hand wand is used to finish around trickier areas i.e skirting and pipework etc. A full inspection of the carpet will then be carried out and any remaining spots or stains will be re-treated.
Grooming:
The carpet pile will then be set and groomed using a pile brush.
Stain protection:
If this service was requested a stain protection solution will be applied to the entire area.
Partial drying :
High powered air moving fans are used on the affected areas. It is recommended that windows and doors are left open to speed up the drying process.
